What Is Physical Therapy for Animals?
Physical Therapy combines the art and sceince of sports medicine. It is the application of controlled challenges to tissues to improve strength, condition and function. Basically, PT improves your pet's mobility through a proper structured exercise program without the use of pain medication. This is similar to sports medicine and physiotherapy for humans.

Speacilized in Physical Therapy. CCAT (Certified Companion Animal Therapist) specialization in North Carolina, USA. Trained at the University of Tennessee's College of Veterinary Medicine and practiced at North Carolina State University's Rehabilitation Center at Raleigh, NC, USA. Started practice in 2018.
My goal is to help animals recover from illness and/or injury, and to help animals to live life to the fullest with minimal pain and discomfort.

Max our pet lab is 12 years old and he was facing serious issues with mobility and was very reluctant to take even a single step. We took him to several vets, and they all gave up on him citing his age and giving him painkillers to relieve the pain that was useless. We even searched for dog wheelchairs and before placing an order we stumbled upon ‘Rehab and fitness’ for pets via a google search and we found clients who benefitted through her service. We wanted to try this as last resort. Divya’s magic hands worked like a charm and Max started to walk on his own after the first session. We were surprised and shocked to see his active behaviour which was missing for some time. We took a couple of more sessions in a week's gap and we could see tremendous improvement in his mobility. We were finally happy that we found the right place and are grateful for Divya’s service. We only wished we found her much earlier and we could have used her service before the onset of Max’s issues with mobility. We would definitely recommend her to any pet parents who are in the same situation as us and I can confidently say that her magic will work on your pets as well.
